We’ve seen some awesome Folks come through it, and made some good friends (Alicia & Bud were both interns) because of it. I’m originally from Brampton but recently moved to Georgetown this past summer. Growing up I participated in many sports such as hockey, soccer, basketball, football, tennis etc. I developed a passion for hockey and have been playing since I was 6 years old. I currently play defense for Laurentian. My hopes are to become a Physical Edcuation teacher as well as a Strength and Conditioning coach. This past summer I started Crossfitting consistently and was immediately hooked. I like learning about the movements and techniques by watching videos and reading articles. I enjoy the fact that Crossfit combines Olympic lifting, Powerlifting, Bodyweight, Endurance, Functional exercises (tire flips, rope climbs, kettlebell swings) into one challenging workout program. In addition I love pushing myself in the workout as well as the community aspect of Crossfit.
