Hey Folks!
That was a fun little burner – a little tough on the legs still, though maybe I’m still recovering from the 18.2 and yesterdays 150 air squats damage… or maybe I just need to get some stronger legs.
You guys are moving, and looking great lately – something to keep in mind: In training, it’s always a good idea to go with the most perfect/or difficult version of a movement. I.e. strict movements, or higher quality, slower reps, or just working on plain old quality over speed/quantity. Then, when the time comes, the competition version will feel “easy”. In some ways this is simply overloading something (slower, 30# wall balls sure made the 20# wall ball feel much better, eh?), other times it’s practicing the harder position/version (like a handstand hold makes handstand walking much easier). I’m stoked with how well you guys are working, and how much time and respect you’re all giving to “the process”. It really makes a difference.
