Hey Folks!

So that was a little soul crusher eh?  Nice to work on things I’m bad at for sure, but it takes a fair amount of mental resilience.  We’ve got a new cycle of the weightlifting club starting up next week on Tuesday for those who are interested.  Let me know if check the link in yesterdays post, or in the Facebook group.

Coaches Notes:

Split squats to start things off and develop those beautiful glutes.  You may not need weight, but feel free to add some if you’d like.  You can play around with just stepping into a lunge for those and traveling up and down from there, or elevate the back or front foot to achieve more depth.  The WOD will get you well acquainted with a med ball – and I’m willing to bet the lunging wall balls are a new favourite (sarcasm) – they will likely be the most difficult part, though going right into the med ball cleans afterwards won’t be nice either!  Have fun with it – It always makes things easier that way.

Strength:

Bulgarian split squat – front rack weights (DB’s or KBs, if needed)
5 x 10/leg

Conditioning – “Milk was a bad choice”

Amrap 10 minutes
10 Medball cleans
20 russian twists
30 lunging WB
