So this is a little late – sorry about that, it’s been a hectic week or so! – but I think we could all use a little regularity and happiness in our lives, sooooooo, here’s February’s CrossFitter of the month! This person is like a silent assassin, crushing WODs when you’re not looking and secretly adding weight to the bar during the strength. That’s not quite true, but she has been killing WODs and progressing LOTs on all her lifts and movements #respecttheprocess. Name: Tanis Koritko
Age: 19
Occupation: I am a student at Laurentian University.
What was your exercise experience prior to CrossFit?
I used to be a Competitive dancer.
How long have you been doing CrossFit & why do you choose CrossFit?
I have been training at CrossFit Sudbury for about a year and a half almost. I choose CrossFit because I always feel so much better after I go.
What is your favourite part about CrossFit?
I love to feel like i’m dying after working out, and CrossFit helps me feel that a lot lol.
Favourite workout or lift?
Handstand push-ups and cleans.
What are the accomplishments you are proud of?
I surprisingly hang cleaned 145lbs at the Hopper Games.
