Hey Folks!

Great work today – it looked mentally challenging, but also kinda fun (also see: sweaty).

If you haven’t checked it out yet – Check out the info for the Bocce tourny/General good times to be had at our Camp in a couple weekends (the 25th).  We’re going to have some food, some drinks, some yard games, some bocce and as usual, an abundance of awesomeness.  Please write your names down if you’re coming, as we’d like to know general numbers for the food we’re picking up for it!

 

Coaches Notes:

Snatch work!  The goal here is practicing the finish position.  We’re tiring it out, and then forcing you to get under the bar.  So pick those feet up and get down there on those last 3 hang squat snatches each time.  The runs are kinda like “recovery” in this WOD.  Don’t dog them, but don’t kill yourself on them if it means you won’t be able to hit those sets unbroken.

Weightlifting work:

6 sets:
3 low hang snatch high pulls
3 hang power snatches
3 hang squat snatches

Same weight Across all sets (~60%)

Rest exactly 2 minutes between sets

Conditioning – “I’m a Mog!  Half-man, half dog!”

3 rounds for time:
20 Wall ball (20/14)
Run 200m
20 DB shoulder to overhead (65/45)
Run 200m
